Life at the Lodge
WEEKDAY SCHEDULES:
While we hope to develop our own day program in the future, our Neighbors currently participate in other day programs nearby. We provide transportation to these programs. We also support Neighbors who seek local employment, such as at Safeway.
EVENING AND WEEKEND SCHEDULES:
We stay active! We enjoy activities like Special Olympics, hiking, picnics, riding bikes, miniature golf, walking together to the local ice cream store, entertaining guests, and participating in special events in the community. Neighbors also have the opportunity to attend church or other religious services if they desire.
Rely on top-notch care
Our team of professional caregivers is invested in the flourishing of every Neighbor.
All of our Neighbors are unique, and we are committed to offering person-centered care and individualized success strategies for each one.
We maintain a ratio of one caregiver for every four Neighbors, and we have a caregiver on site 24/7.
While we may be able to meet greater needs in the future, at present, Residents must meet the following criteria:
18 years of age or older

Financial Details
Residency at Hilltop Ranch is currently funded through monthly tuition payments from the Neighbor and/or their family, and is supplemented by the contributions of donors, grants, and foundations.
Our goal is to secure government funding for residential care (the DD waiver) for our Neighbors. We are currently meeting with state officials and are encouraged by their response.
Although most care costs are provided, extra fees will be charged for some services such as overseeing medical appointments, providing rides to the airport and occasionally participating in more expensive, optional outings.
